WHO WE ARE
Haides EDU is the education division of HAIDES, a professional barber ecosystem born in Surrey, BC, Canada. Haides opened its first chairs in 2016. The school followed in 2017, and it started the way most good things in this trade start: a few students, one instructor, and a lot of repetitions.
Today we run a full education calendar from our home in Port Moody, BC. New barbers come to us for Foundations, a three-month program that builds a professional from the ground up. Working barbers and stylists come for intensives, private group training and one-to-one days. Salon and shop owners bring us in to train their teams on their own floor, anywhere in British Columbia. And our seminars and Hair Jams open the doors to the wider community.
What hasn't changed since the first class: we are working barbers teaching working barbers. Everything we teach, we still do every week, on real clients, at HAIDES Barbershop.

Our vision is to build a new generation of professionals who elevate the standard of barbering through education, mentorship, leadership, and service. Careers that reach far beyond the chair, without ever losing respect for the craft that made them possible.
Our mission is to develop highly skilled, professional barbers and hairstylists by teaching the craft the right way: through technical excellence, strong character, disciplined work ethic, and a commitment to lifelong growth.
