Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and talented barber to join our team at our Surrey & Langley locations. As a barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients, including haircuts, beard trims, hair styling, and other barbering services. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skills, and passion for the craft while delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments.
- Execute a variety of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and styling, according to client specifications and industry standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using barbering tools and techniques, such as clippers, scissors, razors, and styling products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and incorporate them into your work to provide innovative and stylish services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, sterilize tools, and adhere to hygiene and safety regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication, professionalism, and personalized service.
- Educate clients on proper hair care and grooming techniques and recommend suitable products to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and inclusive work environment and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barber with a demonstrated portfolio of successful haircuts and grooming services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in barbering techniques, including cutting, styling, and grooming.
- Creativity and passion for the craft of barbering, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet client needs and business goals.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client appointments and peak business hours.
